moving to the clear.

Edmonton: NeWest Press, 2002.

Published in 2002 by NeWest Press, moving to the clear is comprised of four main sections combining long poems, short fiction and a bit of everything in between.

"From the sun drenched Okanagan Valley of B.C. to "Géricault’s Severed Limb Paintings," this work examines images both tangible and ethereal, as well as the beauty of the grotesque. As he writes, Dewinetz attempts to come to terms with, make sense of, and to understand the minute, everyday details of life; this is the ongoing process of moving to the clear."
