Just back from the ATF conference in Portland, Oregon, it was a great chance to see all of the Monotype gang from around the world. The conference was hosted by the folks at the CC Stern Typefoundry, and they put on a great week. After two days of presentations, and a third day including a swap-meet and field trips, the final two days comprised an instensive workshop on the Monotype Composition caster, headed up by Brian & Dave from M&H Type in San Francisco. While I did a terrible job of documenting the conference as a whole, below are a handful of photos from the Stern foundry.
